Our Story on STX209 Stories

The computer broke. For the second time since I got it last November. The Geek Squad, who I am normally opposed to using but whom I have a service agreement with, was able to figure out what was wrong with it, and has been wrong with it since it came out of the box. So it's back to the factory, being fixed, at no cost to me. Hooray!

But we are without a computer until late next week. Boo!

(I guess I could get out the old laptop we keep for emergencies and for the boys' entertainment - the one with the malfunctioning "h" key. I'd have a tough time deciding, however, whether it's more annoying to try and type this up on a keyboard with no "h" or on my tiny phone screen, which didn't seem so tiny when I first got it, but now has become the mail reason I need to wear cheater glasses.)

(Yes, we have two iPads, but getting those away from the boys is another challenge. And Zack is so touchy now, without the Arbaclofen, I take special care not to upset him.)

So this will be short and sweet.

(AJ abandoned an iPad for a few minutes and I grabbed it, in case you were worried about me having to copy and paste in all the "h"s, or damage my eyesight more trying to work on the microscopic phone screen. Thank goodness.)

The second week of horseback riding went great - night and day difference from the first week. I have a cameraful of great pictures that I'll post when I have the computer back.

Also we put up an above-ground pool in the backyard - since the boys get so much benefit from being in water, and have gotten too big to get much out of the little wading pools. I have a bunch of wonderful pictures of that, too.

I did write up this quick piece in the past week for STX209 Stories, a website where we can all talk about how Arbaclofen affected our kids, and how they are doing off of it.

Please click over to read our story, and while you are there, check out the others.

While it is possible to blog from an iPad or phone, it's definitely not as user friendly. And not just because it's different. If you just want to type words, it's perfectly fine for that. If you want to post pictures and include links, it's not as perfect. So I may not get back here until I have a full sized, actual PC back in my house......
